Delivery Policy

mercurydeliver.com endeavor to adhere to the published delivery schedule, however customers are reminded that it is an estimate.

All dates specified for the delivery of goods are approximate only, and no liability is accepted for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused due to a delayed delivery.

Mercury Distribution Ltd does not charge a delivery fee.

Rules of engagement are as follows:

In most cases, if we receive your order before 9.30am Mon-Fri (excluding Bank Holidays and Weekends) you will receive it same day. Orders received after 9.30am are delivered on a next working day basis. Working Days are Mon-Fri (excluding Bank Holidays and Weekends). We regret that we cannot guarantee a delivery time but deliveries can be made between 10am and 4.30pm. mercurydeliver.com has a minimum order amount of £30 and delivery is free. There is no paid delivery service

Goods may be left in your absence at our driver’s discretion, unless otherwise instructed when placing your order - all goods are left at the customer’s risk
mercurydeliver.com does not deliver to addresses outside Jersey

All alcohol goods must be signed for on delivery by an adult aged 18 years or over with valid proof of identification. If proof is not available and there is no-one of that age at the address when delivery is being made, the goods may be retained by the driver. In such a case the driver will leave notification of the attempted delivery, and a contact telephone number to rearrange delivery.

The Company reserves the right to decline any order relating to the above.

 

Returns

The customer reserves the right to cancel an order at any time before a confirmed delivery date free of charge.

Claims for damaged / poor quality / wrongly delivered goods must be notified to the mercurydeliver.com team within 48 hours of delivery otherwise they may not be upheld.

No fault returns - If an order is cancelled or the purchaser decides to return the products to mercurydeliver.com, a refund will be made to the credit card used to make the purchase within 7 days of cancellation, when the goods have been safely returned.

The safe return of the goods to mercurydeliver.com is the responsibility of the purchaser, including all costs.

Goods must be returned unused and ‘as new’ in the original packaging including all manuals and accessories. Notification must be made within 7 days from date of delivery. Full responsibility to return the goods to Mercury Distribution Ltd is at the purchaser’s own cost and risk. If goods are received back ‘as new’ but incomplete, with missing components and accessories Mercury Distribution Lt d reserve the right to invoice the full cost of the accessories. Goods received back in any condition other than ‘as new’ will be returned, and all costs will be charged to the purchaser.

Faulty Returns - A product is deemed to be faulty on arrival if it shows symptoms of a failure preventing basic operation upon its first use out of the box. In such instances please contact customer services within 7 days from the delivery date. The faulty item can either be returned directly or collection will be arranged. Upon receipt of the goods and confirmation of the fault the following options will be offered:

1- A replacement.
2- A full refund - provided the item has been verified faulty and is complete with all accessories in its original box and packaging.

If the product is not deemed to be faulty by the product support team the following options will be offered:

1- Return of the goods - all costs relating to this will be invoiced to the purchaser. 
2- Refund - the invoice cost less any applicable delivery and collection charges, provided the product is ‘as new’ and complete with all accessories in its original box and packaging. If the condition of the product or the packaging is poor then the Company reserves the right to impose a charge to cover re-packaging costs. Missing accessories will also be charged to the purchaser.

The manufacturers guarantee will apply to all items reported to be faulty after 7 days from delivery.

Responsibility for ensuring that the product is suitably packaged for return lies with the purchaser. The cost of any damage caused due to insufficient packaging will be charged to the purchaser. The goods must be returned in the original packaging. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse, for which there will be no refund or exchange.

 

Other

Failure by Mercury Distribution Ltd to enforce any of these terms and conditions will not affect the right of the Company to enforce the rest of the terms and conditions.
